Hi, I'm Mike
I have always been the person behind the scenes making everything come together.
Long before I became a travel advisor, I was already helping my family and friends plan their vacations. I would compare options, organize the details, make the reservations, and make sure everyone knew what to expect.
Eventually, I realized I was already doing the work because I genuinely enjoyed it. Starting Catching Horizons Travel Co. gave me the opportunity to extend that same personal help to others.
I am organized by nature, I enjoy solving problems, and I like being given a challenge. Travel planning gives me a chance to use those qualities to make the experience easier for the people trusting me with their vacation.
Why Catching Horizons?
Because the best vacations are about more than where you go.
I have a family of my own, and I understand what it means to have a great family trip. I am not interested in simply sending someone anywhere. I want to help you choose a vacation that truly fits the people traveling with you.
As life moves forward, family schedules become busier, children grow up, and opportunities for everyone to spend meaningful time together can become harder to find.
Those moments matter. My goal is to help create trips where everyone can slow down, reconnect, enjoy each other's company, and come home with stories they will still be sharing years later.

A lifetime of travel
Travel has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I have been cruising since the late 1980s, and my experience with Royal Caribbean alone stretches back almost 30 years. I have also sailed with other cruise lines, including ships that are no longer in service.
My travels have included destinations throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, Croatia, Spain, Germany, Morocco, and many parts of the United States.
I have taken international trips, family vacations, school trips, cruises, and plenty of long-distance road trips. Being born and raised in South Florida has also given me firsthand knowledge of Miami, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Naples, the Florida Keys, and many other places throughout the state.
I personally enjoy relaxing travel, cruises, road trips, and discovering interesting places without feeling like every minute of the day needs to be scheduled.

When you work with Catching Horizons, you work directly with me. As we plan more trips together, I can learn how you like to travel, what matters to you, and what you generally look for in a cruise, hotel, flight, or destination.
I will remain available before your trip, during your travels, and after you return. Some situations may require you to contact the airline, cruise line, hotel, or travel provider directly, but I will always do my best to help from the back end whenever I can.
My job does not end when your vacation is booked.
